First was the conception and building of a three-stages cascade cooler, CE-approved (world premiere in the home-made world), designed to cool the cpu down to -110c, which took a month to complete.Â
Then, during three full days, extreme overclocking to finally reach a world record speed of 5191MHz, going from a 2933MHz stock speed.
Rig was made of an Intel D975XBX mainboard, a pair of Corsair 6400C3s, a nVidia 7950GX2, and a PCPower 850SSI. SuperPi time was in the 10.xxx seconds.
