Quad SLI demonstration and extreme overclocking of a Core2 + nVidia chipset solution.
To fit nVidia’s needs, I’ve designed and produced a phase-change cooler capable of handling the four G71 gpus that are at the center of the QuadSLI concept. With this, we can run our graphic cards below -30c fully loaded (-40c under normal use).
The cpu was not forgotten, as it was chilled by the same cooler as for the ESWC experiment, so I had the complete rig working at freezing temperatures.
Power draw for all those things was around 5kW, who said extreme… ?
